This year, Impact eighty nine FM is celebrating thirty five years of broadcasting from Michigan State University. And what better time than now to take a look back? On this podcast series, we'll be talking with DJs, directors, show hosts, and everyone in between who made the station what it is today. And we need to remember that student radio at Michigan State goes back even further than the start of Impact in 1989. Along the way, we'll we'll be exploring student radio's origins from the small carrier current stations that operated within residence halls across MSU's campus to their combination into the campus wide Michigan State Network and finally leading the consolidation around Impact eighty nine FM. Our guests will also share stories about their careers and insights they took away from their time on the radio. So join us as we talk with alums and get their stories behind the mics.
